BSc in Architecture at National University of Ireland Dublin

This programme leads to the B Arch degree and is geared primarily towards the architectural profession. Architecture is all about the art and science of building.
It involves the creation of living environments that meet the requirements of a complex society. Core to architecture is the balance between physical beauty and the practical use of space.

The UCD School of Architecture, Landscape & Civil Engineering provides a unique forum for interaction between research, teaching and the practice of architecture and is at the forefront of the architectural and urban design debate in Ireland.

Design is the central activity of the degree and, in this context, the ability to make judgements on appropriate solutions and the exercise of visual awareness is extremely important. While the necessary skills in drawing are taught as part of the syllabus, the prospective student needs to have an aptitude for representation techniques and creativity.

Degree of Design and Architecture at Musashi Institute of Technology

The School of Design and Architecture with an emphasis on harmonization between arts and technology, was established in 1996, and it consists of two departments in Design and Information Technology, and Architecture and Urban Design.  The Department of Design and Information Technology, whose conceptual goal concerns the urban landscape, offers three majors in visual-arts design, image information design, and urban design.  The Department of Architecture and Urban Design, whose conceptual goal concerns health-care, and environment offers two majors in smaller and larger environmental systems design.

The school offers not only baccalaureate degree majors but also quality education in an atmosphere that
encourages learning and personal growth resulting in activities in professional design fields. Because of the
smaller class size, the professors are able to get students involved in active learning situations in conjunction with benefits from on-campus laboratory facilities. Furthermore, a strong faculty and staff dedicated to research and teaching make the classroom experience both challenging and rewarding. The school also has a full schedule of cultural events on campus, including frequent concerts, films, and lectures.
