Master’s program in engineering and urban planning landscape architecture
College of Engineering study program leading to a master’s degree in “engineering and urban planning landscape architecture,” The program consists of two Turkizin urban planning and landscape architecture, and a total of 36 hours credit hours. The program aims to achieve the following objectives:
1. The definition of students and urban regional development, and awareness of the importance of working conditions, quality of housing and the local environment and services provided to the population ….. Etc..
2nd Replenishment (Rehabilitation) of regional and cultural heritage, to give students the skills necessary for planning and design in these two levels.
3rd Upgrading the capabilities of students to assess the changes in the physical environment changes due to natural and social, economic and political.
4th Increase awareness of the natural environment and awareness of their relationship to the process of planning and design at all levels of community participation.
5th The development of scientific research and prepare students to deal with the methodology of urban planning and landscape architecture and absorb the science and the tools and skills necessary to achieve them.
6th Improve the planning and design practices in the field of landscape architecture and urban planning in Palestine.
7th Strengthening the capacity of academic institutions on the education of Palestinian students and prepare them in the fields of landscape architecture and urban planning.
8th Support of the Palestinian planning institutions at all levels to integrate the various elements of nature in the process of planning and urban design.
