Case Scholarships (merit-based aid)
Scholarships are determined according to academic achievement, leadership, artistic talent or other personal qualities that distinguish students in the applicant pool. Financial need is not a factor in granting scholarships.
Merit-based aid is awarded by the Office of Undergraduate Admission without regard to financial need. The FAFSA and the Case Financial Aid Form are used by the Office of University Financial Aid to award federal, state and institutional need-based aid only. Questions about scholarships should be directed to Undergraduate Admission.
We encourage all students to pursue outside scholarships through community groups, religious organizations and other sources, and to file the FAFSA regardless of whether or not they believe they have financial need.
Scholarships for First-year Students
We evaluate all applicants for undergraduate admission to Case for merit-based aid, using many criteria, including test scores. There is no separate scholarship application to submit. For a complete listing of scholarships for first-year students, click here.
Scholarship Information for Admitted Students
Notification of Scholarship Awards for Admitted First-year Students

If you are fascinated by buildings – houses, law offices, churches, airport terminals, concert halls; and by their distinctive shapes and functions, materials and settings – then perhaps architecture is the field for you. Through design, the architect translates the needs and desires of the people he or she serves into a uniquely functional and pleasing structure. In doing so the client is educated and served.
Students may request permission to enroll in Master of City and regional Planning (MCRP) graduate level courses during their fourth and fifth years of study. Upon completion of the BArch degree, students are eligible to formally apply for graduate student status in the MCRP program, and if accepted will have already completed a significant portion of the program.
