Future Outlook
As the only graduate institute of integrating “urban development” with “architecture” in southern Taiwan, we provide an excellent education to urban developers and architects with cutting-edge laboratories and facilities, dedicated faculty, and innovative technology. Besides their own research, the faculty will continue to assist students participating in various urban and architecture related research and internships in the future.

Projects
We have initiated many on-site training and surveys trips. Through practical hands-on experiences and observations, students broaden their horizons.

In August 2004, we held an international academic exchange program entitled “New City, New Architecture—2004 Urban and Architectural Experiences in Southern Germany” visiting Professor Ganser and Professor Latz as well as well-known architectural buildings.

In August 2005, we had another international academic exchange entitled “East Germany Learning Trip.”

In 2005, a traveling scholarship donated by the Chen Shu-Lai Cultural Foundation was established to encourage students to explore travel and learning in foreign countries.
