Bachelor in Construction Project Management at Fachhochschule Bielefeld
The Bachelor of Science “Project construction is building between architecture and civil engineering, and prepares to control and management of construction projects regarding design, planning, construction and delivery and use / operation, namely in terms of costs, timing / forward, quality, contracts, optimal organization and coordination as well as ecology / sustainability.
The course construction project management is particularly suitable for students with a propensity for building and with an interest in generalist, organizational and management-oriented tasks. It leads to a Bachelor’s degree with 6 semesters of study, including a three-month practical phase and the final dissertation.
The course contents mediate a broad technical knowledge base in construction in the Unfang as needed for the task of project management is required.
In the first semester will be taught basic knowledge building are languages, business administration, law and key skills and the basics of project management during construction was introduced. The key skills relate to social skills (eg teamwork and communication), competence (eg, learning strategies and media skills) and self-competence (eg, self-management and creativity).
From 3 Semester is increasing the expertise in management subjects in the foreground. These can be extended or widening choice of modules from a catalog supplement.
A project phase and the production of bachelor work close in the 6th Semester from the study.
